Hi everyone!
I know, once again I’m not updating my blog as much as I should. Sometimes I don’t even understand why I still get so many hits, hehe.
Anyway, I’ll be going on vacation as of today until October 10th. I’ll be away to see my family in another province until Sunday so that means my trading terminals will be closed.
I promised that this time, since I’ll actually have the time, I will update that blog when I come back to see my family. I want to share with everyone and especially with those that have been trading currencies with me closely for the last few years my latest development.
Thanks everyone!
Ben

Website upgrade + Portfolio update |

Hi!
I updated my Wordpress (the open-source program I use for my blog) to version 2.9 from version 2.0. It was quite a tidious task since I couldn’t upgrade directly to it. I had to go from 2.0 -> 2.2 -> 2.4 -> 2.5 -> 2.7 -> 2.9, and verify that my plug-ins work on the latest version. If you find any bugs, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I also updated my Portfolio with my two trading accounts. I will shortly add my third one. I will put more details about these in my next blog updates.
Cheers,
Ben

New Poll – Q2 2011 |

Alright well last poll ended with more than 1/3 of the people saying I should pay off my car. I listened, and I did it.
I’m officially debt-free!
New poll! I’m getting my passport soon, and I’ve always contemplated living in another country.
Again, my reasoning behind the choices:
- Stay in Canada: Pretty straight forward, I already live here, I have everything (job, doctors, my pets, etc.). Not much of a challenge, I see it more as the “comfortable” choice.
- Central/South America: Cheap cost of living, would allow me to trade and live comfortably as long as I have a big financial cushion.
- UK (most likely London): I love the UK culture, but the cost of living… Read More…

New Poll for 2011 |

Hey everyone!
I’ve always told everyone that in order to make money you need to be able to save money. Well even though I have recently moved and had a few expenses, I managed to save up $5000, most of it coming from my Telus Shares, and I’m looking for ideas on how to spend it.
All of them have a reasoning behind it:
1. Pay off my car: This is pretty much the only “debt” remaining that I have, and even though I make monthly payments every month, that would just be out of the way.
2. Save up for a home: Banks here don’t care if you work partly commission, they only look at your base wage. Now… Read More…

Hi
I just wanted to you let everyone know that, as you can problably have seen, a lot of articles are delayed.
I’ve been having some health issues lately, mainly migraines and I have been trying to deal with that, working full-time and still have time to invest, so I don’t have a lot of time on my hands. I promise once I get the time I will get back to it because that website means a lot to me, and I know I have a quite a few readers that are probably wondering when the next updates will come (Thanks for your emails by the way).
I’m currently investing in Silver, and will keep you posted on that as… Read More…

Pop-ups explanation |
| June 2nd, 2010 under General News, MoneyBull. [ Comments: none ]

Hi everyone!
I noticed the other day when going on my website to see the look of it on another computer that there was a pop-up coming up. I hate pop-ups as much as everyone else and would never us that type of advertising as I find it annoying and intrusive.
I investigated and it turned out that Obeus, which I have been using as an ad company for years has a script on some links that generate a pop-up. So I immediately dropped them. I will only use BidVertiser for now, which is a reliable and honest company that I have been using for a long time.
I am not aware of how long this has been going on,… Read More…
